Non Violence Day, Delhi, October 2015

Kathak Dharohar team visited Raj Ghat and offered floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi - the name given by Kavi Guru Rabindranath Tagore. The spirit of love and pace for which this great soul stood for was saluted by all and a proud feeling overwhelmed us all that we all are born on this land where this great son was born. The relentless and peaceful way of attaining freedom was remembered by all and a pledge was taken to keep this spirit lighted in the hearts of all the Indians and the citizens of the world through the medium of dance that Kathak Dharohar is pursuing.

Workshop atAdra Leprosy Centre, October 2015

"Sometimes myself really feel that am so lucky that I give my services to grassroots people and I thank my mother who gave me birth also I give thanks to Almighty for gifting me a pure soul." A visit was once again made to this Leprosy Centre to conduct a workshop in which around 60 students participated. On the final day we distributed sweets and certificates to the participants. Mr Basudev Acharia, our formar MP was present on this occasion.

Human Rights Day, Delhi, December 2015

It was a very touchy time when I and some of our society fellows visited a Kashmiri Refugee Colony in Delhi located behind Sashrti Park Metro Station. The first impression was the unhygienic conditions and unpleasant smell in the area. To mark this day the Kathak Dharohar team and Sadanand Biswas, visited refugees from Kashmir and helped them with what we could.
