Hiroshima Day (Anti Nuclear Weapon Day) August, 2016 Delhi

A rally was organized to abolish nuclear weapons and to commemorate the Hiroshima Day. Around 130 students of SLS DAV Public School, Mausam Vihar, Delhi and Kathak Dharohar team along with 30 staff members participated in a rally on 06.08.2016. Tributes were paid to the victims of destruction caused by Atom Bomb dropped on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan during World War II. Shri Sadanand Biswas, and Kathak Dharohar team of volunteers also accompanied the students in the rally to motivate and support them. The rally took the route from the school to Pre et Vihar Crossing to Vikas Marg and back to school via Marginal Bund Road covering a distance of around 5 km. The students raised

Celebration of lndigenous Day, August 2015

Indigenous Day was celebrated in Bankura, a district of West Bengal where very backward and tribal communities live. The whole day was spent with them and the tribal people danced whole heartedly. And they expressed their feelings as "babu aapni bagwan er roop", Sir you are like God's messenger, nobody has come to us and danced with our community.

Rakhi celebrations in India to mark the sacred relationship of brother and sister were made in this slum area in North Delhi with an aim to reach to those people who do not have any sister, and to make all realize the importance of this festival.
